Nylon
Source: Synthesized through polymerization reaction, common ones include nylon 6 and nylon 66.
Features: The wear resistance ranks first among natural fiber and chemical fiber fabrics; good moisture absorption, comfortable to wear; high strength, good elasticity, not easy to break; corrosion resistance, but slightly poor light resistance, long-term exposure will turn yellow and reduce strength.

Acrylic
- Source: Made of polyacrylonitrile or acrylonitrile copolymer with acrylonitrile content greater than 85%.
- Features: It looks and feels like wool, has strong warmth retention, and is known as “artificial wool”; it has outstanding light resistance, ranking first among common textile fibers; it is resistant to acids, oxidants and organic solvents, and is not moldy or moth-eaten; but its moisture absorption, comfort and wear resistance are not as good as wool.
- Application: It is often used as a substitute for wool or blended with wool to make warm fabrics such as sweaters, scarves, blankets, etc.; it is also used to make outdoor fabrics.
Spandex
- Source: Generated by the polymerization reaction of amine and carboxyl groups.
- Features: High elasticity is the biggest feature, it can be stretched to several times its original length and recover quickly; it is not easy to shrink and deform, and can fit the body curve; it is usually not used alone, but blended with other fibers.
- Application: It is widely used in tight clothing, such as yoga clothes, swimsuits, jeans, sports bras, etc.
Artificially Regenerated Fabric
Artificial regenerated fabrics are made from natural polymers through chemical processing and are both environmentally friendly and comfortable.
- Source: Made from natural wood pulp or cotton liners, chemically treated and mechanically processed.
- Features: Strong hygroscopicity, comfortable to wear, good dyeing performance, bright colors; soft to the touch, good drape, similar appearance and feel to natural fibers; but the strength decreases significantly after being put into water, it is easy to shrink and deform, and is not resistant to washing.
