Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability
At BOSTON Scrub, we live by three core values: putting our customers first, valuing our employees, and embracing sustainable practices. These principles are at the heart of everything we do, as we work to improve health and well-being around the world.
We’re all in when it comes to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted in 2015. We’re actively working toward 12 of these Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making sure our strategies create real value and positive impact for our customers, team members, communities, and the planet.
We’re here to make a difference—by staying true to our values and pushing for change that benefits everyone.
BOSTON Scrub
Sustainable Environment
We are devoted to reducing the impact caused to our planet by various business activities.
Energy Use and Management
To enhance energy efficiency and sustainability, the BOSTON Group has implemented several measures to reduce consumption and emissions. We use high-efficiency solar panels to power factory lighting, employee accommodation, and parts of our production lines. We also recycle packaging materials and reuse treated wastewater for cleaning and environmental protection. These initiatives have achieved a 26% reduction in energy use and emissions. In our Kenyan and Cambodian plants, we use biomass power for production lines.
Pollution Prevention and Environmental Protection
BOSTON has implemented pollution control measures at all our operating sites, either by installing control facilities or by engaging experts to handle and dispose of production waste responsibly, minimizing environmental impact. At our facilities in China, Cambodia, and Kenya, we use eco-friendly dyes such as plant-based, inorganic mineral, and low-impact synthetic dyes. Wastewater is treated by our water circulation system to ensure pH and COD levels meet local emission standards, and local authorities regularly test household and filtered water to ensure safety.

Sustainable Development Determination
From supply chain to product production quality inspection
Sustainable Supply Chain
Effective supply chain management is key to BOSTON’s growth and shareholder value. Global climate change and ongoing COVID-19 mutations have severely disrupted supply chains, making raw materials harder to secure. To address this, we have manufacturing and operational sites in China, Cambodia, and Kenya, which help reduce supply chain risks. We also work with government agencies, sourcing organizations, and brand owners to build a strong network of suppliers and distributors, ensuring we’re prepared for any disruptions that could affect our access to essential raw materials.
Quality Management
Quality management is essential for BOSTON to consistently deliver top-quality products and maintain customer trust. Renowned for our comprehensive quality management system and precise product labeling, we ensure each product meets specific standards and undergoes thorough inspections for quality, safety, and consistency. Our quality management system, certified by TRSA, NAUMD, WRAP, BSCI, Higg Index, ISO, and others, takes a product-focused approach to risk management, covering manufacturing, inspection, and regulatory compliance in the countries where our products are distributed.
